Epson Remote Services (ERS) is a free, cloud-based monitoring and management system that delivers advanced remote diagnostics for Epson business inkjet devices. By integrating Epson Remote Services within Happen EKM, print dealers gain a total view of their fleet performance, plus manage and resolve service issues, before a callout is required.
New Epson Remote Services Integration
Compatible with Epson business inkjet devices, this new integration provides direct access from Happen EKM to ERS enabling Managed Print staff to easily access fleet service data and device alerts alongside print management information, simplifying processes and improving efficiency.
Users can now find the same remote management features available in Epson Remote Services, including enhanced device status, usage reporting and remote operations, which helps print dealers reduce onsite technician visits by enabling remote diagnostics and fixes from the Happen EKM portal.
Next Steps
To set up the integration, existing Happen EKM Print Management customers use their Epson API account credentials and ERS customer ID details in Happen EKM device settings to connect the two platforms. We advise Epson dealers may also require installation of the Epson monitor agent software.
