Country Water Solutions Winning Irrigear Member Award 2023
Jim2 would like to congratulate Country Water Solutions, the winners of the Irrigear Member of the Year Award 2023 (MOTY). Founders Dave Furlong and Michele Schoder, along with their team, have proven their tenacity and grit since their doors opened in early 2020.
Country Water Solutions (CWS) is a specialist irrigation store. They serve Bunbury and the South West of Western Australia. They offer full irrigation, pumping & filtration solutions, including infield service and sales. The store also designs, sells, and installs irrigation, pumping & filtration systems. The design services for are for projects ranging from industrial, commercial and agricultural projects, through to residential development projects.
Customers of CWS have access to industry-leading brands and products designed to stand up to local conditions. The products are backed up by outstanding after sales support. Being a member of Irrigear has given them increased buying power, access to a wider range of suppliers and the ability to offer their customers the best advice, products and solutions at the best value. Being members of industry groups such as Irrigation Australia and the Australian Retail Association signifies that CWS is deeply involved in their industry and always looking for improvement by following best practice and advocating for their industry, suppliers and customers.
Being flexible and meeting their customer needs means CWS offers mobile field services that can repair, install and maintain of pumping and irrigation equipment where it is needed. Their onsite workshop is always busy with a skilled team fixing and maintaining all manner of water management apparatus.
Previously using a number of clunky accounting and pos programs, CWS management identified that they wanted to streamline their business so that accounts, stock management and retail sales were integrated in one solution. An added bonus would be for the field technicians to be able to have mobile access while on site to have visibility of their next job, place orders for parts and record their time spent. Most importantly they also wanted to eliminate the manual manipulation and duplication of information between systems, which would lead to more productivity and fewer mistakes.
In 2021 fellow Irrigear member and Jim2 customer, Ray Cooper from GG Pumps and Electrical recommended Jim2 Business Engine to Michele.
After a brief demonstration, Country Water Solutions implemented the business platform which ensures that no job falls through the cracks, and the team has visibility across the business, in one solution, in real time.
Using the Jim2 Saas platform means that CWS doesn’t need to maintain servers or software as it is an entirely cloud-based solution. Their mobile service technicians are also able to check jobs and add stock used in real time via the Jim2Mobile app. This all adds to efficiency and ensures outstanding customer service.
